Ron Bern directs TBCI's marketing functions, and as a principal, helps shape the firm's operating values and procedures. With more than 40 years of experience in the industry, he originally defined interior construction as its own discipline.
Leonard Troiano, Director of Construction
Len Troiano is TBCI's director of operations in New Jersey and
Pennsylvania, as well as an exceptionally talented senior project manager.
His signature projects are the firm's largest and most notable, including the
total reconstruction of the 625,000 sq. ft. National Newark Building and the
more recent 6-floor installation of headquarters law offices in Philadelphia
for Duane Morris LLP.
Mark Binder, Director of Estimating, Purchasing and Value Engineering
Mark Binder directs the key estimating, purchasing and value engineering functions at TBCI, a role he has discharged with distinction since the company was founded. A graduate engineer, Mark has more than 25 years of critical senior estimating experience in New York and has contributed materially to most of TBCI's largest and most complex assignments.
David Schafer, Director of Construction, New York
David Schafer directs construction operations in New York, bringing more than a quarter of a century of experience to bear on TBCI's most complex and challenging construction assignments. His projects for such clients as NYU, HDG Mansur and Perricone are characterized by synergistic and collegial working relationships with clients, architects and engineers in achieving client goals.

Matthew McCracken manages major projects in New York and New Jersey. A broadly experienced professional in both design and construction, Matt was first associated with TBCI in 2000, when he was project architect for construction in TBCI's total building retrofit of the 625,000 sq. ft. National Newark Building. A graduate architect, he previously served with The Hillier Group and with Gensler.
Philip Spitz, Senior Project Manager
Philip Spitz is one of TBCI's most versatile senior construction managers, with special bona fides in design and technology. A graduate architect, Phil manages some of TBCI's most complex projects in New Jersey.
Michael Elko, Senior Field Superintendent
Michael Elko is TBCI's most senior field superintendent, regularly
responsible for the firm's largest and most challenging assignments. Mike
was the senior field manager of TBCI's six-floor installation of new headquarters
facilities for Duane Morris LLP in Philadelphia as well as the installation
of President Bill Clinton in Manhattan.
Tanya Zelik, Estimating/Purchasing Manager
Tanya Zelik is a broadly experienced manager of the key estimating and purchasing functions in TBCI's Newark office. A graduate engineer, Tanya brings a high degree of creativeness and organization to key pre-construction aspects of the firm's largest assignments in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Steve Remington is a key project coordinator and administrative manager in TBCI's New Jersey operations. He manages construction projects, implements project administrative and filing activities and oversees key expediting operations for the firm.
Donald Swartwood, Superintendent
Don Swartwood is a broadly experienced construction superintendent who brings a practical "hands-on" approach to TBCI installations. Equally at home on both sides of the Hudson, Don has been involved in many landmark TBCI projects, beginning with the retrofit of 744 Broad Street in Newark.
Mike Spadifino, Field Superintendent
Mike Spadifino is a well-rounded field superintendent with more than 2 decades of supervisory experience and special capabilities in out-of-the-ground building work. Among his TBCI projects was the Ironbound Childrens' Center in Newark.
